A High-Definition Cinematic Video Relives NASA’s Artemis II Mission

Between April 1 and 10 of this year, NASA’s Artemis II mission made history as four astronauts flew farther from Earth than anyone has ever traveled before. With state-of-the-art technology and numerous cameras onboard, the crew captured some of the most striking images we’ve seen of our planet as the flight path led them around our iconic satellite. Lenses attached to the exterior of the spacecraft, plus numerous photographers stationed on the ground during the launch, documented the literally out-of-the-this world process of rocketing through the planet’s atmosphere and keeping course around the moon.

John D. Boswell, a musician and filmmaker who works as MELODYSHEEP, created a cinematic short film compiled from videos and images published by NASA.
